With a resounding blast, students and faculty of Isabela State University-Cauayan City Campus (ISU-CCC) gathered for a festive celebration which featured a wide range of enjoyable activities, bannering the theme, “Brushstrokes of the Future: Creating an Engaging Student Life and Experience,” at the Campus Old Stage, September 11.

A grand parade throughout the campus, with students and faculty, filled the pavements with shades of colors from different college departments of ISU-CCC, most of whom later participated in a unity dance led by Skilled, Talented, and Enthusiastic Performing Students (STEPS) Dance Troupe.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Irmalyn R. Alejandro, Director of Academic and Related Affairs, warmly welcomed the students and staff of ISU-CCC during the official jumpstart of the Academic Year 2023-2024.

Moreover, students also had the opportunity to shine with their extraordinary skills in acts of singing, dancing, and playing instruments through the conduct of Bamboo Got Talent. Meanwhile, the Mini-Concert featured ISU-CCC Music Ensemble.

College Fair Booths were as well showcased from various academic units, each with its story to tell; highlighting their fields of study. Open to all students, these booths offered a feast for the eyes and mind, celebrating the beauty and artistry of each department.

The event was organized through the collaborative effort of the Office of the Supreme Student Council, the Office of Student Affairs and Services, and the Office of Socio-Cultural Affairs.

A color fun run and bubble blast then took place in the afternoon, concluding the event.
