CAUAYAN CITY — A team consisting of eight (😎 officials from the Isabela State University-Cauayan City Campus (ISU-CCC) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) clinched first place as best paper under Social Research Category, held at the Climate Change Research and Development (R&D) Support Facility of ISU-Main Campus, November 20-21.

Dr. Precila C. Delima, Dr. Virginia G. Bilgera, Ms. Raquel B. Santos, Dr. Teresita C. Molano, Dr. Lorelei C. Tabago, Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Mr. Ryan A. Salviejo, and Ms. Rowena A. Guzman presented their research paper project titled, “Impact Assessment of DOST-Rolled Out Technology in Cagayan Valley: The Case of PORTASOL – A Multi-Purpose Portable Speed Drying Solar Trays”, during the 2023 Agency In-House Review, University and Extension Symposium.

Additionally, they have consistently won the same award for six (6) consecutive years in a row, showcasing their commitment to excellence, and emphasizing the role of DOST in driving research and innovation, with a promising sustainable progress in solar technology around Cagayan Valley as their recent achievement.

In partnership with DOST Region 2, with their funding, the research project successfully gained funds and recognition.
