Festivity from the mass demonstration by the Socio-Cultural Affairs alongside the freshmen and sophomores welcomed Dr. Marita Canapi, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner and Chair of Isabela State University (ISU) Board of Regents to ISU-Cauayan City Campus, October 7.
University officials, including the University President, Dr. Ricmar Aquino, and campus officials informed Dr. Canapi on the programs and plans under the Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) Technology Business Incubation (TBI) program and the Business Intelligence and Research and Development Center (BIRD-C), two programs aimed at pioneering science, technology, and innovation for sustainable use and entrepreneurship.
Following the briefing, the said officials gave her a tour around the campus and introduced her to its facilities.
Additionally, she will also serve as the guest speaker for tomorrow’s midyear graduation to be held at ISU-Echague, where students who completed their requirements during the midyear last summer will be recognized and awarded.
